Paleo Weight Loss Success – The Weight Loss Solution Summit

I tuned into The Weight Loss Solution Summit and was inspired by the session because of a paleo weight loss succespaleo diets story that must be shared! You see I hear so many people today say that their health issues are written in stone.  They say they are getting older and this is the reason for their weight issues, pain issues, chronic health issues. It makes me sad that so many people believe this myth!

You are not your health issues. And you are definitely not your weight issues. If you make the decision to change you may have the same kind of paleo weight loss success that was shared in the session yesterday!

Let me explain.

Stacy Toth, busy executive, mom, and owner of Paleo Parents was the speaker. Now Stacy explained that she was not well. She was living with Syndrome X, Celiac Disease which she was not aware of at the time, obese and looking for a change when her third child was born.

Doing a search for ice cream she came across the Paleo Lifestyle, which she had never heard of before and this caused her to find out more. It was in learning of Loren Cordain of the Paleo Diet  Movement Founder that Stacy began finding her way to improved health and ultimately her Paleo Weight Loss Success!

She decided to experiment with a 30-day paleo diet eating strategy and she continues today! It was through this experiment that she and her husband lost a combined weight loss of 200 lbs.  9 months after beginning a paleo strategy she lost over 100 lbs and 1 year later all her health issue symptoms were gone!

I could totally relate to her story.

You see I have had a similar experience when I went gluten, wheat, and grain free at the beginning of 20paleo weight loss success12 as an experiment to see if I would feel better. I did feel better and continue to feel good with our version of a Paleo diet.

For the first time in my adult life, I don’t think about my weight, what I eat or do I ever feel hungry! It is really amazing and wonderful, yet I digress.

After learning about Stacy’s journey to finding paleo weight loss success, she then went on to explain how they made changes for the entire family.  This is what I really liked about her strategy.

They called it the 3 Phase Paleo, this is how they made the change to a paleo lifestyle. As the name suggests they made change happen in stages. It really does make sense because most people feel that firstly change is difficult anyway. Making what seems like drastic changes in diet almost impossible.

It is not impossible and anyone can do it if they are ready and want to change.

You will see a marked improvement by taking the worst offenders out of your daily diet first. This is what Stacy and her family experienced. I know this is true because it was how I felt.

Stacy goes on to explain how she manages work, social situations and how her kids succeed at eating a paleo diet.  She really has some great ideas that you will want to learn for sure.

Paleo seems to be the new tried and tested way to eat healthy and improve your overall well being – the bonus of weight loss is just the cherry on the top 🙂

    Yes there are so many benefits to the Paleo Diet. Health first and then weight loss is a super long term health plan of action

We are going through what we are calling a “food revoltuion” at our house which is a version of Paleo that we found in the book “always hungry.” The title of the book might well have been the title of my life. In 9 days I have lost 7 pounds and 3 inches off of my waist. Sure I have 53 more pounds to lose but the best part has been the energy I feel and the freedom from not having to think about my stomach all of the time I don’t miss the yo yo feelings of blood sugar rises and falls either. If I can stick with it I think my blood sugar issues, sleep apnea, blood pressure and mood problems will all be helped if not eliminated.

    So fantastic to hear! Congrats on your food revolution! When I began eating a Paleo Diet I realized the same thing. I just am not hungry between meals any more. And this is such a freeing feeling. Oh, and yes I feel like a different person. Let me know if I can help.
