 You Will Get Fit By Taking Consistent Daily Action

women get fitHow to get fit at home for women? The only possible way any woman will get fit fast is by taking action. And not only action it must be consistent action. I was listening to a Shawna K (creator of Female Fat Loss Over 40) the other day and it was interesting because she was saying that women seem to be more sedentary as they age and their bodies just fall apart. Why I find this interesting is because I see it all the time. It’s like when your car is dangling on the cliff after an accident and you are praying for help, in this case the help you will look for is to find the way to get simply fit for you to  feel better, be healthier and look great.  My goal is to help women get fit by taking action because it will uplift your life!

Now it was 20 years ago when I made the decision to live a healthier lifestyle. I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. I was fed up with the extra 100 lbs. I was lugging around everyday. I was watching my mother have a hip replacement and just knew deep inside if I didn’t take massive action for change I would be her in a few years. So I began to make changes.

So how to get fit at home?

You Get Fit by taking action for sure. The first action step is to figure out your why? Why do you want to get fit?

  • Is it to be able to play with your kids?
  • Maybe to feel better about how you look?
  • Or maybe like me you realize that getting healthy is the biggest and best gift you will ever give yourself as well as your family! Without question.

The key to making the successful changes necessary is a daily focus on results driven actions. The actions that will get you to produce the desired results. This does require some time, energy and certainly focus.

Really these are the habits that you must create to move forward with your goal. For me this was pretty simple. I began by making the commitment to change. I created a vision of how I wanted to feel and focused on that each day. I made the commitment to exercise. This was a big challenge however by having my vision it made it easier to take small steps daily. At first it was only 10 minutes of exercise. And gradually I increased the time as I got stronger. Then I started lifting weights, again. I hadn’t done this type of activity since my early twenties. That’s when it got really awesome! To feel great and powerful and strong. There is nothing like that feeling!

These were the small handful of actions that were giving me the results that I had created in my vision, my WHY! It was awesome. It was challenging. Yet over time it was exciting to see a new me emerge. Feeling better, more energy, more fit, more alive!

And you can do it too! Here are 3 simple action steps for you to take right now to get fit.

Ask and answer these 3 questions for yourself:

  • Why do you want to get fit? Go deep on this one! Figure out how to bring out your inner athlete.
  • How will your life look when you accomplish this?
  • What are you willing to do right now to begin this journey?

This is a great place to start. So women get simply fit by taking action, realizing that women can do a lot with their lifestyle to feel good and be healthy.

      Yes they are! Most times the Why question is so simple and that it never considered. 🙂

    Understanding the why is so important,. I think I need to consider it more deeply, but better health, and adding to me repertoire of activities (hiking, and other active things) are the prime reasons.

      Finding the Why is key to staying the course consistently. Maybe going deeper as to Why you want better health?
