The other important this about getting fit at home is you need very little space. I personally dumped my gym membership over 6 years ago. Now I workout exclusively at home and enjoy it so much more than being in a crowded, smelly gym! You can learn to do the same.
What I have found about working out at home is I am way more creative with my training and have way more fun. I have purchased a few pieces of equipment like kettlebells, a few sets of dumbbells, a straight bar, and we had some plates hanging around.
